I have, through Congressman Thompson's office, forwarded the text of the petition and photos of The 9-12 Project members presenting the petition to GT, to WTAJ. I am under the impression that they will be airing a segment on tonight's (4/20) news. I don't know if it will be the 6:00 or the 11:00.

Link (if it works) will let you hear the fear in the homeowners' voices.
If I were in this situation I would not put my gun down (as the 911 operator advises) until the Police are at my residence. There are too many accounts of people who have been shot, getting back up and continuing the attack.
This can occur for many reasons but please understand that it CAN and DOES happen. Real life is not like the movies.
But always obey the Police immediately when they order… Continue

You just never know. It is not being paranoid if you are constantly scanning the area and the people around you: Situational awareness. Your brain is one of the most important self defense tools you have.

You may remember this from 2007. Some national media covered this anti-gun politicians instant moral reversal:
Anti-gun politician switches sides after being made victim in mugging
Cleveland Plain Dealer columnist Philip Morris is reporting that State Rep. Michael DeBose, a Cleveland Democrat who has a solid history of anti-gun votes in the Ohio legislature, has changed his mind in the wake of a violent robbery attempt near his home.
It's…

Hey All:
I hope to be able to update this Blog on a daily or every other day schedule. This first link is unfortunately one time when the civilian did not have her gun. PLEASE listen to her testimony before forming your opinion.
I wish I could speak as eloquently as she does. I can not fathom the pain and regret she must feel. When asked "Why do you feel the need to carry a gun?" - SHE HAS A PRETTY GOOD RESPONSE.
Thanks for…

The tea parties are just the beginning, the tip of the proverbial iceburg. Much like an iceburg which often most of its mass is beneath the water line, hidden from the view of one observing the iceberg from a ship. The Patriot Movement is far greater than the outward demonstration displayed through out the Nation this past week. Much of the movement is behind the scenes, hidden from the probing eyes of the likes of the CNN Reporter in Chicago on Wednesday.
The British were taken by…

Conservative thinking is not dangerous, harmful for your health, immoral or radical. That is unless you are apart of the growing problem in the Republic. Our founding fathers were thought to be extremist radicals, not by those who longed for freedom or representation in the English Government of King George, but by those who were in the government whose only motive was to oppress liberty. Fast forward some two hundred and twenty five or so years later. The only ones who believe that…

The State College Pennsylvania Tea Party was scheduled between 4 and 7 Pm outside the Frasure street Post office.
I arrived fifteen minutes early to see 150 or so folks already standing around in a cold drizzle. By time 5pm rolled around that has swelled to 300-350 at any one time and the rain had stopped. The social atmosphere was friendly and festive the entire time.
Lots of signs very few produced from printing reproduction - the vast majority of signs were hand done…

The Blair County Tea Party Rally was a resounding success!
Estimated were 400 or so attendees. It was impossible to get anywhere where I could get a photo of the whole crowd at once.
It rained the ENTIRE time.

We the People, at least that is what our core convictions were founded on. Our Consitution empowers the people first and gives us the authority and power over our government and not the other way around. All throughout our recent history the government in Washington DC has trampled upon the rights of the people. Once they felt that they had us under control and in their grip they helped themselves to lavish perks all at our expense.
I propose that We the People take over. Let us take…

Fellow Centre Patriots,
I am volunteering for the Independence Caucus (IC) icaucus.org and working very hard to encourage all WST social networking groups in PA to consider coming together to leverage your momentum. In addition, I wanted to introduce you to IC and consider IC for one of your topics of discussion at one of your future Thursday meetups. IC has a proven and successful strategy for change for which IC is sharing with the rest of the country. Just like your Centre WST, IC has…

Federal agency warns of radicals on right
Audrey Hudson and Eli Lake for the Washington Times
The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias.
