Congresswoman Michele Bachmann concerned about 2010 Census

Today, our battle to pass Audit the Fed through the U.S. Senate has been joined. The first shot was fired on the floor of the Senate tonight by Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina.

Senator DeMint has a well-deserved reputation for taking the battle to the other side in the Senate, and tonight he once again proved why he is such a valuable ally in our fight to bring transparency and accountability to… Continue

37,000 at Dallas Tea Party — and next steps

By Michelle Malkin • July 6, 2009 11:59 AM

I returned from the Dallas Tea Party this weekend inspired and motivated by the massive turnout of citizen activists. The official county estimate of the day-long event’s crowd: 37,000!

The Tea Party organizers aren’t surprised by the MSM games of lowballing numbers. And they are not letting it distract them from their agenda. Behind the scenes, they are mobilizing and… Continue

Via the Tulsa World, Sen. Inhofe says it’s “dead in the water” — notwithstanding the arrival of a new clown in town:

Does Your Freedom Depend on Gold? By Adam Murdock, MD

Does Your Freedom Depend on Gold?

By Adam Murdock, MD

Published 06/24/09

Many believe, and rightly so, that gold has intrinsic value. As a result, gold served as the ultimate and most stable form of currency in the 19th century. A gold-backed U.S. dollar permitted unprecedented economic growth in the background of a relatively deflationary economy. However, despite the clear economic advantages to… Continue

Judge Napolitano's Notes on Czars

The Czars are Coming, the Czars are Here!

The czars are really presidential assistants, who may be hired without FBI background checks or Senate confirmations, and serve at the pleasure of the President. Because they work in the West Wing and directly for the President, they enjoy virtually total immunity from any accountability to the Congress. Supreme Court decisions even immunize them from replying to subpoenas from Congress for documents or testimony, under the claim of executive… Continue
