Teaparty Candidate in PA12 Special Election May 18! Let's support him!

On May 18 voters in the PA-12 district in Johnstown, Indiana and Green Counties will be voting on a representative to fill the seat of the late John Murtha.  This would be the first time since 1974 someone other than the big spending pork-loving Jack Murtha  will sit in DC.  We need to make a difference and keep the momentum going.Tim Burns is running as a Teaparty candidate, the GOP nominee for the special elections.  He is a businessman and claims to support the Teaparty movement,…See More

Vote in the WeAreCentralPA.com Healthcare Poll

There is a poll to voice your opinion on Senate Passage of Obamacare. This is the WTAJ sponsored webiste, so I am sure they will use the results on their news cast which may help sway our two wayward Dem Senators. (not likely) But it will help shape public opinion if people think friends and neighbors overwhelmingly oppose it.http://wearecentralpa.com/content/fulltext/?cid=134951Keep your eyes peeled for additional ways to…See More

Timeline Shows Frank and Schumer blocked Bush and McCain backed reforms on Fannie and Freddie

This piece from Britt Humes show pieces together the timeline on the Fannie and Freddie looming disaster, and how the GOP was pushing for regulation and sounding the alarm. This is not to give an atta-boy to the big spending Bush and liberal McCain, but I think it does show how the GOP was trying to deal with the impending crisis (although they didn't fight that hard) while the Democrats, particularly Frank and Schumer from the socialist wing of the Dem party, backed their cronies, overlooked…See More

Should we organize a rally at Senator Bob Casey's Office in Bellefonte (and aroudn the state) to protest CapandTax?

Now that this job killing cost raising American enterprise gutting monstrosity passed the house, it will head to the Senate. We need to let Casey Jr. know that WE THE PEOPLE oppose this bill that is antithetical to all that we stand for!

Congress is on summer recess. I think we, and our counterparts throughout the commonwealth should schedule protests at the Senate offices of Bobby Casey (and Arlen Spector). Any thoughts? Who is with me? WE SURROUND THEM, and they need to know… Continue

On Iraq: Obama Silence is Deafening . Stand by his WORDS in Cairo or Support the Iranian Theocracy?

At the end of the Gulf War in 1991, George HW Bush failed to support the pro-democracy forces that revolted against Saddam Hussein. The result was a brutal massacre and ethnic cleansing and 12 more years of Saddam and another deadly war.

Now, Mr. Obama encourages democracy forces in Iran during his Cairo speech to the Muslim world, then says nothing about the brutal theocratic dictatorship as they brutally suppress all protest.

It is clear that without action by the West –… Continue
