Federal issues:
The audit the FED bill now has a majority 222 co-sponsors, still needs to get out of committee; However now is time to start to lite up our senators Senate Bill 604 - the other side of HR 1207...
Lets fire em up! transparency is what Obama promise and transparency of the FED is what we must see!

State level issues:
The Budget. Pa currently is running at a 3 BILLION dollar deficit due to a cross cut of over spending and falling revenue. The state needs to cut spending and sell unnecessary assets - like the liquor stores.
Future liabilities in the scope of billions,
specifically underfunded retirement pension plans portends a huge problem that will be made up with a combination of higher state and local school taxes.

FEDeral issue:
Why is auditing the FED important?
Look in your wallet, your bank account or retirement account and see that there is a number that 'values' what you own. Imagine what happens to that if the government (the FED) doubles the money supply - paying off their friends and families and your not in the list. The number you have remains the same, but what it buys is now half because the FED (Federal reserve) inflated the currency - devaluing your money halving your wealth with out raising a dime in taxes or asking Congress for permission.
The lastest bail outs appear to be in the 13 trillion dollar range.
Untill we actually have transparency we can not know the real number.
That 13 trillion equals an entire year of Americas productivity - yet not a tooth pick was created hence wealth is being redistributed from you to who ever the recipients are.

Hi Peter,
My intention was to setup an array of potential general topics broken down by the governing authority that is most culpable er.. responsible branch of government related to the topic -- and a personal strategy to respond to some problems (opportunities?) created by government excesses.

Your goal of setting up an array of general topics would best be done using the Discussion Forum feature (see above). That is what Greg used to create his discussion about
