Letter to Senators from a FL resident....priceless!! (We should do this!!!)
Senator;
You must be very proud of your accomplishment of moving ever closer to bringing a Government Controlled Health Care system to these United States of America. You must be very proud to know that you were one of 60 votes to bring this piece of legislation to the floor of the Senate.
How proud you must be, a member of the senate body that took a huge step forward in adding a debt to this country that will keep every person, their children, grand-children and Great Grand-Children forever indebted to the Federal government. A task that the framers of this great country could never envision.
Many of your colleges have been asked where in the Constitution of this country does it provide for health care for all citizens. What amazed me is that most answerers were either smug or just brushed off as a "Stupid Question". Many Constitutional scholars have stated that what you all are doing is in violation of our constitution but why let that stand in your way.
At a time when un-employment is at 10.2% and projected to go higher to perhaps 11%, our national debt at $12 trillion plus, budget shortfalls in the Federal Government, state Government, County Governments and City budgets, folks losing their homes, business's closing and an over-whelming belief that the country is heading to a deeper recession, the wisdom of the congress is to forget the folks that put them in office and move forward on legislation with gimmick's about, funding for pet projects, favored organizations, and pay-offs for votes is in of itself amazing. Proving once again that politics trumps what is needed for the citizenry and the country every time.
I think of the people who gave their lives for this country over the past 233 plus years in the pursuit of freedom and liberty for all. It makes me ill to realize that those proud Americans of all creeds and colors made decisions based on love of country rather than allegiance to a political party or an ideology. But then again they were not a group of elite elected representatives that abandon their moral values and principals to advance their parties power and control.
Yes Senator you must be very proud of yourself tonight, even patting your self on the back and saying "Good Job". I hope you will be able to sit down with your Children, Grand-Children and perhaps Great Grand-Children, look them in the face and say I put you in debt for the sake of more power for me and my party. I am sorry you will live in debt forever. I made the proper decision of spending your future and placing a debt upon future generation so that I may be looked upon as a hero by my peers , my leadership, and my party. I made the decision to enslave your future and of future generations to place myself in power of this countries political system for a long time.
Yes Senator you must be very proud tonight. Knowing that you have contributed to the destruction of a Republic, (That you refer to as a Democracy), that has created more wealth and innovation in the first 233 years of its existence than any other group of citizens of any other country in the world. So many discoveries of its people in the fields of medicine, housing, education, transportation, space travel and agriculture, technology, space travel and many more.
This nation has always been the first to provide relief and comfort to other nations in the times of need. And now due to our complete failure to follow Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government and Free Market Policies we will become what you have long desired for. A nation equal to other third world nations around the world that will continue to hate us because we will no longer be able to provide the relief in times of need. Oh my, how proud you must be. How proud you must be to finally admit to your family that you have had to sell yourself as a Political Prostitute for the good of the party.
Lies all lies that have been repeated enough that myrmidons now see them as truths. I honest and truly feel very sorry for you and your colleges that have voted to move this legislation forward, to advance another lie to the people who will in the end be required to pay for it. Why is redistribution of wealth so important to you and your ideology. Karl Marx and Fredrick Engles were the first to suggest that system, and since that time every effort to advance that theory has failed miserably, yet here it comes again. One more attempt, all you have to do is look to Canada, Europe and Cuba to see the outcome in much smaller nations, yet you in your infinite wisdom will say we are smarter and we know better how to make the system work for all, well not all but 95% of the folks.
Let me site a few examples of where you or your predecessors from both political parties have used the same logic. Social Security, Medicare and Medicade all "Ponzie" schemes much the same as the Maddof scandle, taking from one and giving to another and soon the money runs out. We all know in 2016 the system expenses will exceed the income. The treasury notes now in the various trust funds set up in the original legislation will be redeemed by 2037 and there will still be an annual shortfall. Do you remotely believe this may be a larger threat to our Fiscal Responsibility than enforcing a not wanted Health Care system. Will you stand before the nations senior citizens and answer the hard questions, I seriously doubt it will ever happened. Please consider from treasury's own projections the national debt in 2016 will exceed $20 Trillion Dollars. and the projected deficite for that year $637 Billion, where Senator will it all end?.
A couple of years ago the Bush administration attempted to open discussion regarding Social Security and you and your ideology peers stated in so many words, "Never in your term as a non elected president. I watched Senator Bill Nelson and several others get on the floor of the senate and rip the president apart for wanting to cut medicare spending by some $32 Billion, yet not a peep about $400 to $500 Billion cut in the Pelosi and Reid legislation. I wonder why, perhaps you could enlighten us. The public is against this plan by a large margin, but that certainly would not be a factor for you or your peers to consider, after all you all were only sent there by the very same people telling you to STOP.
But will you?, most likely you will continue to follow the party line. and spend our beloved country into oblivion.
Senator, I promise you I will use every legal method to assure your defeat in the next election you have to face.
