were a self-selected group who chose to be here because of their intense desire for liberty. That simply isn't the case now. That's one problem...Two world wars and a civil war have killed most of the men with any sense of the spirit of our founding fathers, and we're left with a docile population that's too fat, drunk and stupid to realize how it all came to be. Most folks, even most quasi-conservatives, won't stand up for this nation because of fear. Fear of losing what little they have. Fear of being unpopular, or the very real fear in Centre County of becoming ostracized. Nobody will stand up against things they feel are wrong because they KNOW there will be a terrible backlash. Most people just don't want to take a stand when it means becoming uncomfortable, and that's the problem. Revolutions don't happen until the people are starving, and that kind of revolt seldom works out right. The American revolution was unique, because it was a unique set of circumstances. In my opinion, there's no solution to our current state of affairs. We are outnumbered and trapped. The cowards outnumber the strong-willed. The people on the dole outnumber those who produce. One needs only look at past civilizations to see that this is nothing new. Rome is one example, but there are others. We'll meet a similar end, I'm sure, probably by assimilation into China and India. The time has come for us to survive--to keep our way of thinking and our culture alive. Otherwise, it will be lost to assimilation. In the past, this meant running away, literally. When my ancestors built this nation (I am not the son of immigrants, rather, colonists) they fled a variety of oppression and slavery. The trouble is, there's nowhere left to run. We can't stand and fight, because we'll be annihilated, and I have no desire to become a martyr. My advice is simple: stop trying to convert lilly-livered liberals to your way of thinking. Weaklings will always be weaklings, and trying to turn a sheep into a Shepherd is a fool's errand.Instead, try to make your way as best you can, consider this economy akin to the wilderness our ancestors made their own, and start making babies as though your life depended on it. Everything else is just a distraction.
William,
I sincerely hope you are wrong. It sounds as though you have given up all hope that things can be fixed. If what you say is true, then this whole 912 Project is a complete waste of time!
My thoughts are that most people simply have not educated themselves. They are educated in a public school system, that does not teach the founding principles of the country. Not only are they not teaching them, in many cases they are indoctrinating people into socialism, which is the direct opposite of our founding pricinples. People watch TV news, or read the newspapers, which are all slanted heavily against our founding values.
I have had discussions with liberals that I know. One thing I have realized is - they don't even believe that what is happening right now is socialism. One person I know is a Political Science major. He says that this is not Socialism, because (he says) the money being spent belongs to the government. To me, this just goes to show how poor our educational system is, even at a college level!
I know another person who was completely ready to vote for Obama, before this last election. That person is another local business owner. I spoke to her, and realized that she was really supporting Obama by default, because that seemed to be the way everyone else was going. When I explained to her what Obama's policies meant to her and her business, she changed her mind!
So, I don't think it is the case that we are outnumbered. I think that many people are just uninformed, and are just following the rest of the crowd! They don't listen to people like Glenn Beck, or Rush, because they (Glenn and Rush) are minimalized by the mainstream media.
In another post, I put links to the Thomas Paine videos that Glenn Beck has mentioned, and played part of on his show. I confess that my own history education was too far in the past, so I did not remember the part that Thomas Pain played. After watching those videos, I looked him up. In the months leading up to the American Revolution, the real Thomas Pain wrote the book "Common Sense", which explained founding principles, in language that all people could understand and follow.
This is what I feel we need now. People should come to understand how valuable Freedom is. In my opinion, Freedom, guided by the other principles and values, is the main force that has made this country rise so rapidly to superpower status, above others that have existed for thousands of years.
Recently, even some vocal liberals have begun to say things that show they are having reservations about the excessive expenditures of our current government. This gives me some hope that people can be educated. Maybe my first suggestion was premature. Maybe our first step should be to start educating people.
I also think that there are more people who are willing to sacrifice in order to reclaim their freedoms than you think. I considered before I posted, that my ideas were publicly viewable, and might be used against me. However, I stand by what I wrote.
I am a gentle person. I abhor violence, and desire peace. I sincerely hope that no violence comes to our country. I strongly disagree with Barak Obama, and his policies go against everything I believe in, but I wish no harm to him, or to any other person. In fact, I would prevent such harm if I could.
But, I also feel that there are lines the government must not be allowed to cross, and I will do what I must to prevent that. I think that is how most of us feel.…
w that the circumstances of 1776 are simply not here anymore. This post might just get me fired, but what the hell!
It took me the better part of twenty years to figure out my own philosophy, and I don't expect anybody to understand it in a 300 word essay I've written while supposedly working, but I'll throw out a few random thoughts anyway, just to see if it resonates with anybody else.
We are now outnumbered, in spite of what Glenn Beck says. The last election proves it. If folks are waiting for the rise of some silent majority, they're fooling themselves...it ain't gonna happen.
The men that founded this nation came from a certain stock, and were a self-selected group who chose to be here because of their intense desire for liberty. That simply isn't the case now. That's one problem...

Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.
Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.
Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.
Tax his gas,
Tax his car
Find other ways
To raise the bar.
Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.
Put these words
Upon his tomb,
'Taxes drove me
to my doom...'
When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

t the child who stood in the bathroom and screamed bloody murder at the site of an ant. I walked off a soccer field at age 4 and told my father I did not like playing because "I had to sweat."
It has taken many years, and tremendous amounts of patience on both the part of my parents and loving husband, but the little bubble I used to exist in has burst and my eyes have opened to the real world. I now know that the world is a scary place, people are not generally nice, and that if you want something done your better off doing it for yourself.
In the past 3 years I have found an inner strength that I did not previously know I had in having to deal with the injuries that my husband sustained while fighting for freedom in Iraq. His accident reminded me that life is precious, it can come and go in the blink of an eye.
I am a soon to be 26 year old with a bachelor's in history. I have finally realized that there is not much that one can do with a mere bachelor's in history! Therefore, after a ridiculously long length of time and great amount of internal debate I have decided to return to school to ascertain my degree in Constitutional Law.
No one in Washington is defending our great country and fighting for what our forefathers staked there lives on and I am sick and tired of it. America is asleep at the wheel. People are so wrapped up in their own lives that they fail to take notice of the world around them, one that is ever changing. I would like to think that I, one measly little person, can make a difference and that is what I am out to do. My voice will count and will be heard.
I have recently discovered that I enjoy gardening, though I am still new to the trade. I love going to gun range and firing off some rounds, again a relatively new hobby of mine. I do not mind getting my hands dirty and am open to learning new things. Organization is exceedingly important to me...yes, I am a little OCD.
Past that, I love to argue and debate just about anything. I do not like being the center of attention but have no issues taking control and leading the charge. (I know it's a bit of an oxymoron there) I am deeply passionate about the foundations that our country was formed upon and want our fellow citizens to be reeducated! As Glenn Beck likes to say, "WAKE UP AMERICA!!!"
I am fiercely dedicated to family and the moral basis that constitutes a family. Too many people fail to remember anymore that your family is your life line. Families do not necessarily need to be that which you were born into, for far too many people are born into rotten homes. You can make your own family. And that is what we are doing here with the 912 Project, developing a new family and community where we can share and depend upon one another.…
e Truth shared in the individual groups.
They will block people who are sharing too much Truth from posting on every meetup group, even if the local organizers are Godly people and want the Truth shared!
Why do I know this?
Because I joined over 150 meetup groups in America and have been posting the Truth.
I have been slowly identifying which organizers were Anti-God Liberals and would get banned from these in short order for sharing the Truth.
I was finding the groups who had organizers who were Godly people and believed in doing the right thing and working to protect the Constitution.
I was starting to remove myself from the rest of the meetup groups who didn’t have any traffic to reduce my workload.
Today (2010-07-21) I find that I am blocked from every meetup group, including those who have organizers who are Godly people and are Seeking the Truth.
The only way this can take place is by the hand of someone at Headquarters of meetup!
This finishes proving meetup groups have been infiltrated by Anti-God liberals.
How can they claim to support Glenn Becks 912 Principles and Values when the ---2nd Principle is that God is the center of our Life--- when they totally have rebelled and rejected God’s Truth from being shared?
Meetup groups are no longer a safe or Godly platform to utilize if you are a Godly person Seeking to Stop these Anti-God Liberals from Trashing and Trampling on all of our God given Freedoms, Rights and Liberties and the Constitution!
Even if your local meetup organizer is a Godly person, You can no longer rely on meetup groups for the Truth anymore when headquarters can and will ban anyone from all Local groups for sharing God’s Truth!

education. The book consisted of a header at the top of a lined page. The header was generally some common-sense phrase or saying, which the student would copy over and over again on the lines, which would help teach penmanship and writing skills.
As I interpret this poem, the "Copybook Headings" refer to Common Sense. The Gods of Common Sense, in other words reality, repeatedly punish mankind for ignoring them.
Take note of some of the deviations from common sense in the poem, that result in suffering:
- Gun Control (disarming citizens)
- Collectivism (robbing Peter to pay the collective Paul)
- Abandoning moral principles
- "Social Progress"
- Welfare
- Unequal application of law
Also, note the reference to the burnt fool's bandaged finger going back to the fire. This phrase represents the fact that mankind keeps abandoning common sense, getting burnt, and then making the same foolish mistakes over and over again.
AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.
We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.
We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.
With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.
When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."
On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."
In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."
Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.
As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!…
