b) Glenn Beck Live at the State Theatre June 4th at 8pm Hand outs
available Greg F suggested that we gather group literature to
distribute – something the membership committee can be in charge of
NO group tickets were purchased, will be an on your own event
c) July 4th – Washington D.C. Still have hotel rooms at Doubletree
in Bethesda, however, due to lack of interest Theresa S will cancel
the block. Greg – a 47 to 55 person charter bus would be our
options. 47 passengers is $1300 ($28 per person), 55 passengers is
$1400 ($25.50 per person). People MUST PAY UPFRONT FOR BUS!!!
Permits are obtained for rally, through a group called
Marchforliberty.org This is NOT just 912 folks, numerous other tea
party organizations will be present, info on rally/ march left on
tables. It is important that we support such events like this
rally, especially after the tea parties, one of the criticisms was
that it was a “flash in the pan event” and that peoples need to
speak out are satiated now, supporting and attending these ongoing
events proves the critics wrong!
Motion to commit to 4th of July passed, will be posted on site.
Ideas to advertise on radio and in newspapers suggested as way to
fill a bus.
