"You Are NOT Alone!"

Which Are The Correct "Fix The Government" Petitions to Support?

There are hundreds of petitions that exist on the internet, that are supposed to fix the government. There are so many such petitions, that many freedom-minded people don't know which ones are legitimate.

One such petition, which you are asked to support is the Articles of Freedom, a document created by the Continental Congress 2009. The We The People Foundation, the organization that first proposed the Continental Congress 2009, has been "petitioning government for redress of grievances" for the past 10 years. The Continental Congress 2009 consisted of delegates elected by the people from 48 states, in a process similar to that of the Continental Congress in 1776 at which the Declaration of Independence was penned.

The entire process leading up to the Articles of Freedom followed our founders' footsteps in petitioning government; recording for history that these petitions were answered by silence and more abuse; and electing a Continental Congress to create a document officially telling government to stop.

The Articles have now been officially served on our elected representatives at a state and federal level. All that is required now is to have the people sign it, to give it the legitimacy it needs, and for the people to learn about the citizen action plan.

Of all the "fix the government" petitions out there, the Articles of Freedom carries the most weight, and is the one I think should be supported.

Most of the petitions out there are well-written, and I agree with almost everything they say. However, in most cases the things those petitions are saying have already been written in our Constitution. Our elected representatives have been violating their oath to uphold that sacred document for years. Without consequence! If you take an oath in a court room to tell the truth, and you violate that oath, you go to jail for perjury. Where is the penalty for our representatives in violating their oath?

If our representatives are willing to violate their oath of office, which should carry the weight of law behind it, there is no reason to believe that they would suddenly decide to obey any petition like this. The Articles of Freedom is the only petition that carries the same legitimacy as the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Yes, our representatives are as likely to ignore the Articles of Freedom as they are to ignore any other petition - but - the Articles give a legitimacy in the eyes of history, to the actions that We the People must then take if we are to preserve our freedom, faced with a government that no longer recognizes any limits on its power.
