The May Unemployment Numbers are Here, and Worse Than Predicted

Here is an interesting comparison of actual unemployment numbers (in red) with the administrations' projected figures (wishes) intended to support the stimulus.


Reality has no respect for wishes no matter how high the office of the one doing the wishing.

I read an article that it is actually (currently) 16.4% if you include the underemployed or those who want a job but have stopped looking (according to government report). I forget the site where I found it today, but apparently there are several different measurements which the government uses.
