Scary report. Seems a main reason we have misunderstood the Islamic threat for so long is, in part, because our sources of learning about it, the shariahs themselves, are only telling us what they want us to know and perhaps also in part, because we are only hearing what we want to hear.

The Republicans engaged muslim groups because they thought they could use them to their advantage in maintaining economic stability of the oil producing regions, only to used themselves by the muslim organizations to gain access to our country and further their shariah agenda. Now the Progressives are openly embrassing these muslim groups, I can only imagine for a similarly arrogant reason - because they believe they can use them in their fight to destroy our constitution by aiding in the degradation of our society and values. Do our politicians really think they can control or bargain with these people? Do progressive women even consider what it would feel like with the boot of shariah law pressed firmly on their necks? Our party politics will be death of us.

Our leaders are failing to fulfill their oaths office. We have focused so much lately on the threat of government spending, we have largely ignored this growing threat. I think "We the People" will have to be engaged in a lot more of our gvernment's business for a long time to come if we truly want to preserve our liberties.

If our founding fathers could see what's become, under our stewardship, of the country they fought so hard to create, I wonder if they would feel we were worthy of the gift they have given us? For certain, we have taken it for granted for far too long.
