I used to say that if you wait until the General Election in November, you are too late. The real contest is in the Primary, where the political parties, which are similar to private clubs, elect their candidates. I see the Articles Of Freedom have been posted by the Continental Congress.I feel we need to get in back of this 110%.I was able to watch a good part of the Congress when they were in session in Nov. Grant to support Penn State research on climate and infectious disease

A nearly $1.9 million grant from the National Science Foundation is enabling

a Penn State-led group of researchers to continue studies on the potential

effects of climate change on the spread of infectious diseases
, such as

malaria and dengue. The grant is part of federal stimulus funding authorized

under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Status update on my whereabouts

I just wanted you all to know that I haven't disappeared...just have a lot going on!



In addition to some other things that I'm dealing with, my wife and I just bought a house, and the process has been enlightening, maddening, and most of all, time consuming. We've moved all of our stuff--finally--but there are still a lot of boxes to unpack, things to setup and handyman things to do.
