The 9-12 Project of Central PA Tax Day Tea Party Protest of April 2009

April 15, 2009, The 9-12 Project of Central PA organized a Tax Day Tea Party Protest that was held at the United States Post Office in State College, PA. Despite a cold rainy day, more than 400 concerned citizens in an entire range of occupations, ages, and sizes attended. 382 people signed a scroll of grievances that was then presented to a local congressman, who, in turn, presented it to Congress.
