Be a part of history!
You are invited to attend the PREMIERE of
The Blair County Tea Party Freedom Guest Speaker Series
7:30 pm, Tuesday, December 15, 2009
Faith Baptist Church located at 314 40th Street, Altoona.
The program will start promptly at 7:30 pm and will consist of an overview of Health Care by Mr. James Woomer, and an overview of Cap and Trade by Dr John McGinnis. Following these presentations, and beginning at 8:30 pm the speakers will sit on a panel moderated by Pastor Gary Dull, welcoming questions and comments from the public in attendance.
We chose December 15th because it is a date with deep historical significance for American Patriots. It was on 12/15/1791 that the Bill of Rights was adopted. The date is also the eve of the original Boston Tea Party, held on 12/16/1773.
2010 promises to be another year of non-stop, unconstitutional legislation being muscled through Congress and forced down our throats. 2010 will also have Primary Elections on May 18th and General Elections on November 2nd where you will have the opportunity to speak with your vote in local, state and national elections. We have no time to waste in our efforts to restore our Republic. The Senate begins debate on Health Care on November 30th, and they are currently working on Cap & Trade as well. We cannot wait until January to respond.
We encourage you to join us for a moderated, civil and informed discussion of these two very important issues currently before the US Senate. The Blair County Tea Party will present monthly forums throughout 2010 in an effort to inform and engage the pubic. Join us on December 15th as we celebrate our Liberties and follow in the steps of the original Tea Partiers and launch the Speaker Series. In lieu of an admission fee, a free-will offering for our heroes in the military and their families will be accepted.
Make a commitment to participate on 12/15/09 and bring a friend.
