Speakers Include:

  • Leo Knepper  - Executive Director of the Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania 
  • Diana Reimer - National Coordinator/Pennsylvania Coordinator of Tea Party Patriots
  • Phil Waite - Local historian and expert on the U.S. Constitution 
  • John McGinnis - Pennsylvania State Representative-79th District, Republican Candidate
  • Richard Flarend -Pennsylvania State Representative-79th District, democratic candidate
  • Featured Speaker U.S. Senate candidate Tom Smith

Entertainment for ALL FAMILY members:

WRTA's Chris Forshey will emcee the event.

Two very special quests Singers Pamela Wertman and Phillip Steele will entertain with Patriotic music throughout.

The Blair County Antique Car Club will be on display for the public's enjoyment.

The Quaint Corner Children's Museum along with others will be providing children's face painting aand other children's activities throughout the day.

Pamela Wertman of Altoona has given piano and voice concerts for over 30 years across Pa, and the East Coast.  Pamela received piano performance training at the University of Maryland and Washington Bible College, where she also recieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Education.  Pamela is the organist at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Altoona, and is also a voice and piano teacher.  She is the owner of Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music in the 764 Plaza in Duncansville, and for the past 10 years has specialized in Victorian Tea Parties across 8 counties in PA, and at her present location.  Her website is  www.pamelasvictorian.com

Phil Steele is a local musician from Altoona, PA.  As keyboard player for Flight 19, he has performed throughout the central PA region, Flight 19 has been providing great party music for over 12 years, playing clubs, festivals, and opening for national acts including Night Ranger and Firehouse.  Phil has a music degree from Duquesne University, and has played French Horn or piano in various ensembles from symphony orchestras to rock bands.  Currently, he can be seen performing solo, in the duo Ground Crew, and in the Praise Group at First Church of Christ.  Steele is a United States Postal Service Lettter Carrier working in Altoona.

Great Food available for purchase - provided by Holland Brothers  (Pulled Pork sandwich meals, Hotdogs) as well as snacks and drinks.

There will also be 50/50 drawings, Chinese auctions, Tea Party items available for purchase, BCTP memberships available.

Special commemorative BCTP  "DON'T TREAD ON ME!" T-shirts available for purchase as well.

Tea Party members will be taking surveys for public input on past and future events & activities.
