Event Description

All are invited to join us as Floyd Houdeshell, one of Pennsylvania's representatives to the Continental Congress 2009 briefs us on the Congress' Articles of Freedom. We're all looking for a way to restore America, and this may well be it.

Also, our Political Action Task Force will be presenting the first of our initiatives to begin the process of restoring reason and integrity to our political process.

This promises to be an informative and meaningful event, so please join us and bring a family member or friend!

Unfortunately I won't be able to be there this time. Is it possible to put the information on the Continental Congress on the web site, and maybe an outline of plans for 2010?

Expect to attend as long as I am not called to jury duty that day in Williamsport and can't get back in time.

Ruth,

A link to a preliminary version of the "Articles of Freedom", the document created by the Continental Congress 2009, is on the front page of our web site. Feel free to browse!

The hope is to get "a goodly number of millions" of Freedom-loving Americans to sign it.

Sorry, I have to work that evening and won't be able to attend.

Christine - Sorry to hear this. This meeting will introduce our first political initiative. We recently attended a summit meeting of groups from across PA and I saw a great deal of support for this undertaking, so I am optimistic. If time permits, I'll try to put together a written explanation so folks like you who cannot make it to the meeting can keep up to date.

Thanks for writing.

I signed up for this event but came down with an awful migraine within 2 hours of the meeting - so my son and I didn't go. (I got to listen to them cheering and laughing while they watched the Massachusetts election results on TV, though!) Is there any way to get a lowdown on the meeting?

Remember to WEAR BROWN ON WEDNESDAY!!! :)

Sorry to hear about the migraine. I used to suffer with them regularly, so I understand.

The meeting covered a lot of ground, but the two main topics were the Continental Congress 2009 (see the top of our home page; contact Floyd, one of our members here with questions-he was a delegate)) and activities related to the coming primary election.

The discussion on the primary was my responsibility, and I have some notes I could send to you if you are interested. I'd rather not post them here, so please use the email address listed on the home page to send a request with your email address and be sure to say that the message is directed to me, Greg.

I suggest this so that we don't have to post our address in the open on these pagers since that is how spammers acquire them.

Thanks for writing!
