"You Are NOT Alone!"

Links, Sites, Books, Articles, Blogs, References and Other Stuff

Many of you have links and sites that you have found interesting and helpful to stay informed and educated. This is intended to be a discussion that really doesn't discuss as much as it is a listing of references.

A short explanation of your post would be great, but this is intended to be a more "love 'em and leave 'em" site where you can use post and others can search.

Thanks for keeping this site alive, positive, informative and evolving!

Kris

Nancy....this would be the place to paste some of the sites you sent me.

Thomas Paine Videos (Thanks to Peter Trippet)

There are 2 videos. One is from the election period, "The Second American Revolution" and the more recent video is "We the People Stimulus Package" (ouch!).

Rebuild the Party - http://www.rebuildtheparty.com/

I highly recommend this site, which was previously featured on CentreGOP.org's "Featured Activism" section and gained national prominence during the RNC Chairman's race. The organizers of this site are serious about making the GOP the party of conservative values again, but also demonstrate an understanding that "you can govern if you can't win." I really dig their balance of message and strategy and hope many other folks from this group will as well!
Wow, Buch, what a ridiculous typo.... of course, I meant to say that one CAN'T govern if one can't win.

(not to be confused with the 9-12 Project's official website, which is the same address, but with a ".com" instead of ".us.")

Here's another "MUST HAVE" link: http://grassrootspa.com/

For my money, it's the best site on PA politics out there. It's essentially a Drudge Report for PA. I read it daily and have found it by far the best way to keep up with what's going on politically around the Commonwealth.

Let me also recommend: http://www.commonwealthfoundation.org/

The Commonwealth Foundation is doing tremendous work right now. They're quickly growing into an influential advocate for positive government reform, and I think many members of this group would really enjoy their stuff.

One of the Foundation's most ambitious projects, one that I think has the potential to become one of the most significant steps forward in voter empowerment in some time, is Pennsylvania Votes: http://www.pennsylvaniavotes.org/

At this site, you can get a plain language description of every piece of legislation considered by the General Assembly and see how your elected officials voted on it.

Drudge Report is a great news source.

Michelle Malkin has a good website.....she is also not hard to look at.
