Action in DC on 5 November 2009

With only 3 days notice, we mustered a bus full of members and traveled to DC on Thursday, November 5th to meet with members of the House of Representatives. You probably didn’t see this in the news, but approximately 40,000 or 50,000 Americans did the same. We didn’t stop the vote in favor of the healthcare takeover, but we showed them what they are up against in the next election. Even the security details confirmed that they’ve never seen anything like it.
