We have been invited to the Centre County GOP Picnic. This is a family event, but I understand that there will be some speeches, and we have been offered time to present a speech, as well.

I am not sure whether or not I will be able to attend. Karen and I already had plans that weekend, but we may change tham. If I cannot attend, then I think that someone should be a spokesman for our group at this event. Let's make plans at our July 21 meeting!

For those who might complain that attending this event is supporting the Republican Party, please note that I would welcome an opportunity to speak before the Centre County Democrats, as well!
