If we want to meet in person with our Senators and Representative, we may have to register or schedule an appointment. I plan to call them to find out. I'll post the conversation details later today.

It may be advisable to write a letter and address 3 copies to be delivered to each of our legislators.

Update: Only 3 2 seats remain.

Rep. Glenn Thompson's office tells me he will meet us on the Capitol steps and invites us to his office. I've asked that GT do his homework and be prepared to help us maximize our efforts while at the Capitol.

Bus is filled, but you are welcome to add your name to our waiting list and meet us at the State College pickup location. If there are any no-shows, those on the list will be taken on a first-com, first-served basis. Those who don't get a seat can car pool from that location.

To add you name to the waiting list, call the phone number on our home page.

I contacted my congressmen to schedule an appointment for tomorrow with the following results:
Senator Specter's aide thinks that Arlen will be too busy tomorrow to schedule a meeting with us, but took my email address in case he cares to respond.
Senator Casey's aide gave me the following address to schedule an appointment, but said that it will take several days to work its way through the system. scheduling@casey.senate.gov
Representative Carney (my Rep will be different than most of yours)
His aide Kim asked me to send an email request to kimhenry@mail.house.gov including my phone# and email and state that I am a constituent from Lewisburg, and would like to meet in the afternoon hours between 2:00 and 3:30
I expect most to be hiding under their desks or be very busy while we're there, but I am still holding on to the hope that we'll be noticed.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Floyd - Committee meetings are so convenient when the little people are in town. :(

Good news, good news! Senator Casey's has contacted me and will meet with a group of constituents at 3:00 tomorrow. We may have our group represented by 5 or so individuals. We should plan on 5-7 of us attending the meeting with the senator. Those who would like to attend should have some questions or comments prepared to share.
